    The Independent Thinker

Well done! Your personal 90 page iPersonic Career Profile for the Independent Thinker has just been created for you!
Independent Thinkers like you are analytical and witty persons. You are self-confident and do not let yourself get worked up by conflicts and criticism. You are very much aware of your own strengths and have no doubts about your abilities. People of your personality type are often very successful in their career as they have both competence and purposefulness. Independent Thinkers are excellent strategists; logic, systematics and theoretical considerations are your world. You are eager for knowledge and always endeavour to expand and perfect your knowledge in any area which is interesting for you. Abstract thinking comes naturally to you; scientists and computer specialists are often of this type.

Independent Thinkers are specialists in their area. The development of your ideas and visions is important to you; you love being as flexible as possible and, ideally, of being able to work alone because you often find it a strain having to make your complex trains of thought understandable to other people. You cannot stand routine. Once you consider an idea to be good it is difficult to make you give it up; you pursue the implementation of that idea obstinately and persistently, also in the face of external opposition.

As an Independent Thinker, you are one of the introverted personality types. That is one of the reasons you prefer to work alone. This does not mean that you cannot be successful in a team, as well. For you, the task is most important and people who are involved come second. The contact with others, the necessity to adjust yourself to their daily changing sensitivities - all of it is just more gratuitous emotion that keep you from totally devoting yourself to those things that truly interest you: analyzing systems and policies, researching potentials for change, developing new ideas and implementing them in reality.

Here you differ from the second introverted Thinker type, the Analytical Thinker: You truly enjoy implementing your concepts and you enjoy the results. Therefore you should look for a work environment where you can accompany and expedite your ideas through to their conclusion. You consider difficult situations as challenges that really try your creativity and you frequently surprise people around you with genuinely incredibly bright ideas, rendering others speechless with their excellence. Your world consists of statistics, legitimacy, and systematics.

Considering all of this, your Thinker type is very praxis-oriented, and by no means lives on an intellectual ivory tower. You are not interested in theories not related to reality. As in chess, you are excellent at predicting the consequences of your methods in advance, and then choosing the appropriate alternative. Once you have made your decision on how to deal with a situation, you are totally willing to use your elbows and you don’t necessarily show any consideration for others. With that, you occasionally encounter resistance from other, less task-oriented colleagues that you quickly brush aside.

    to this...

    The Good-natured Realist

Good-natured Realists like you are warm-hearted, helpful personalities. You do your work conscientiously and you have a pronounced organising talent. You are committed to traditional values. The family in particular is extremely important to Good-natured Realists. Your greatest pleasure is making yourself useful and taking care of other people. But you do not like pushing yourself to the fore; you prefer to fulfil your tasks out of the limelight. Good-natured Realists are real workaholics; you are very reliable and nothing is too much for you when it is a question of completing a project. Thoroughness, conscientiousness and sense of duty are your strongest points. You prefer established and familiar situations to new and unknown situations.

In dealing with others, Good-natured Realists are considerate and obliging; you are always happy to put aside your own requirements in the interest of your family and friends. Your home very well cared-for, cosy and tidy. Your perfectionism on the one hand and your aversion to delegating tasks on the other hand often lead to you taking on too much both professionally and privately. You cannot stand discord; conflicts make you very unhappy. One could almost describe you as being harmony-addicted - and this sometimes leads you to strongly neglect yourself and your own wishes because you are unable to bring yourself to put up a fight.

As a Good-natured Realist you are one of the introverted personality types. Consequently, you don’t appreciate too much commotion around you so you can devote yourself to your task with sufficient intensity and concentration. You can work very well alone and while being immersed in a task, you don’t appreciate to be continuously interrupted or disturbed.

Nevertheless, your need for harmony and your adaptability make you a good team worker if necessary. Therefore, you are relatively flexible when choosing your working environment, and have the ability to decide which setting you prefer. A profession that gives you the feeling that you are doing something for other people is important to you. Good-natured Realists are very caring people and enjoy taking care of others. Despite your introverted personality and because you are a feeler-type, it is easy for you to put yourself in the place of others and sense their needs. You are most comfortable in a one-on-one situation; you are less enthusiastic about delivering speeches to major groups. At any rate, when choosing your profession, make sure to surround yourself with people who share your personal ideals and convictions, and on whom you can count to work with you. Too many obstacles to your caring for and supporting others make you unhappy.

For you, it is important to depend on a clear and structured workflow. You need time to prepare yourself for new demands, possibly acquire new competencies, and finish one task after the other. As a matter of fact, you are less opposed to routine work than many other personality types. To a certain extent, you don’t mind dealing with them. In your workday, some diversions should naturally be available, but juggling three balls at the same time isn’t something you enjoy doing because you would be concerned that the quality of your work would suffer. That would be a nightmare for your perfectionist expectations of yourself and your accomplishments.

  • oh wow it's been too long since i've written here
well A levels was over since the 29th november
A levels this year was seriously an emotional roller coaster
first i was all eager to get it done and over with
then when it was right in front of me
i was so bewildered and terrified
realised it wasn't really the difficulty that i was afraid of
rather the result i'd get from the paper at the end of it the next year

everyone (by everyone i mean my friends, teachers and family) keep emphasizing how important this is
i understand it determines my course in university and if actually get a place there
but how far can academic excellence really get you right?
not everyone succeeds after getting a degree anyway
or maybe i'm just trying to comfort myself by thinking of those that have succeeded without the need for acedemic excellence

the papers were tricky and difficult when you first look at it sure
but after a while, you're always aware of those better than you
    those that you're competing with
we're expected to be high achievers
even if it's not our forte
a genius in all aspects would be successful?
perhaps in most cases it is true
but if everyone is a genius
wouldn't our value just drop in the end

    just a thought

  • i guess i do miss secondary school
at least i know my friends aren't really fake
i've always felt that friends don't only talk to you when it's convenient
or when you need a favour done
i thought friends would notice you irregardless
    talk to you whenever

    on second thought
    i'm probably expecting the impossible
only when you make your presence felt would they talk to you
i hate doing that i swear
it makes it seem like you're just prodding into their conversations
    standing there looking at them
figuring out what they're talking about

    hah enough of that shit
i'm not going to make myself look like an idiot
standing around hoping for someone to talk to me
    if there's nothing
    i'll just leave
it doesn't matter anyway does it

  • sometimes i seriously have no idea what to write about
sometimes i am pretty clear about what i want to write about
this time i am completely in the middle

i'm really tired of having to be the one to listen
to make people realise they're self worth
to help them realise they're not alone
    basically
    to make them feel better

    the irony is
that no matter how many people i've listened to
i feel like i don't have a voice of my own
i have tried talking to someone
it pretty much blew up in my face
    and now
i dare not speak of my problems
i don't see the need to
or rather i don't see why i should bother
or that my problems even matter

    it's really frustrating
cause the people i thought i could talk to
are the ones telling me to grow up
    suck it up
stop lounging around in self pity
    and stop being a baby

i thought that those people knew of the kind of person that i really am
    guess i was wrong
    so no more
no more talking about my problems
    not even the slightest mention

    from now on
    life is just perfect
it's just fantastically superb and nothing is wrong
everyone else who's having a problem or is in pain
    i'll be there for them
cause i've got nothing in my life to care about anyway
    my life is insignificant
    my problems are insignificant
    i am insignificant
to those pretending to care and listen
then just tell me to grow up when you know i'm feeling vulnerable and down
i wish you'd just stick a knife in your gut and die
cause you are scum to me
complete scum and i hate you

    on a lighter note
if i had a guy like Tom Felton for a boyfriend
i wish that he'd play me this song
and of course i'd love it if he'd play it for me sincerely

    Feltbeats
    I'll Be There lyrics

    Words come easy with you
To keep them coming there's nothing I won't do
And, love comes easy with you
'Cause you've a face that makes my heart race

And, I'll be there my girl
    'Til the sun doesn't rise
And I'll be there my girl
When there's tears in your eyes
And I'll be there my girl
To hold you, when your feeling down
'Cause when no one seems to care
And life ain't being too fair
    I'll be there

And I'll be there, that's all I've phoned to say
Whether you breakdown mentally or you are on the motorway
When you've given up, there's nothing left to do
My damsel in destress I'll do my best to rescue you

And, I'll be there my girl
    'Til the sun doesn't rise
And I'll be there my girl
When there's tears in your eyes
And I'll be there my girl
To hold you, when your feeling down
'Cause when no one seems to care
And life ain't being too fair
    I'll be there

'Cause when the feeling can't compare
And no one seems to care
    I'll be there

'Cause when the feeling can't compare
And life ain't being too fair
    I'll be there
